it's all for
Family
Jason’s love for vintage cars and 4×4 vehicles was born when he purchased a 1973 Bronco Sport for $2000. It was a teenage misstep and required mechanical skills Jason had yet to develop. As a matter of fact, he and his brother, Brandon, had to take turns driving it home to prevent passing out from all the exhaust rising from the rotted-out floorboards. Despite the challenges, each time he jumped in that vintage 4X4, a greater appreciation for old classics grew.

Joshua Blann
Build Tech
Josh inherited a love of vehicles from his dad and his Grandpa Bill. (Our Eagle Scout drives a 1974 Camaro Z28 with a 5.7 liter Ls1 and 4L60E transmission.) Before Restoration Outfitters, he worked at Valvoline and Take 5 Oil Change. Born and raised in Lubbock, Josh graduated from Baylor University, where he was member of the Trap and Skeet Club. Recently, he and Jason represented Restoration Outfitters at a sporting clay event.

Jacob Mulkey
Co-Owner/ Build Tech
Jake loves learning new skills and creating something beautiful from something old and broken. He can be quite a perfectionist when it comes to body work and electrical systems! In high school, he enjoyed playing sports and working for Chick-fil-A. Jake started work for Restoration Outfitters as soon as he graduated, and he married his sweetheart at nineteen. When he is not working at RO or CFA, he is probably hanging out with his wife, Hannah, and their two fur-babies, Skye and Luna. One day, he hopes to restore a 1969 Ford Mustang.

Blake Gibson
Build Tech
At fifteen years old, Blake built his first car. He spent summers working in a family-owned body shop before attending automotive technology classes at South Plains College to learn the mechanical side of vehicles. After working in a collision/restoration shop in North Texas for three years, he returned to Lubbock, where he also works as a firefighter for the City of Lubbock. He and his wife, Abbie, have three young children. They enjoy traveling and camping together in a “classic” 2006 Winnebago View, which also requires some mechanical TLC.
